‘Through Fish Eyes’
Prakriti Dance Company
Music featuring:
Ramya Sundaresan Kapadia, voice
Anjna Swaminathan, violin

A unique performance that utilizes Bharata Natyam to create awareness and evoke empathy in audiences about the dwindling marine ecosystems. The creatures of the ocean come to life as protagonists, telling their tale of a future world ravaged by humanity. They reminisce about the once abundant and thriving ocean, and its interactions with humans. But even water, which is selfless and ever-giving has not been spared from the meddling of humankind. Humanity is the hand that has destroyed, but can it now be the hand of change, or is it too late?
